Scarecrow Festival and Trick or Treat Toledo
Halloween Afternoon
Individuals, groups and businesses can enter a contest to
win prizes for the most creative scarecrow displays. First prize $100,
second $75, and third $50. Prizes are contributed by the Toledo Hometown
Committee and Toledo Chamber.

Rules:
The 9th annual Toledo Scarecrow Festival is Oct. 21-31. Individuals,
businesses and community groups are welcome to create and display scarecrows
in public areas. Please use materials that are sturdy and weatherproof; to
be eligible for the prize drawing entries need to be outside in plain view.
To enter, call Celeste Mathews at City Hall, 336-2247 ext 215 to check on
available locations and fill out an entry form, which is due by October
24th. Judging will be on Oct. 25th, and winners will be announced on
